Ipswich Spedeweekend 4th/5th July 1998

What can anyone say about the Ipswich Spedeweekend that hasn't been said already. Lots of cars, over thirty races, in three sessions, colour, atmosphere and controversy. There was plenty of that this year with a large crash in the Nat Rod World that got the crowd talking and saw Englishman 718 Colin White come home victorious. Once again it is all captured on this double tape set which runs for nearly six hours and recreates the whole weekend. Lots of interviews with the leading Nat Rod drivers, 7 formulas, Banger Team Racing with a comedy Ramp Roll-Over competition plus English Championship, 2 litre Hot Rod World, Superstox National Championship, Stock Car Sky Sports Trophy, Stock Rod European Challenge Cup and of course the National Hot Rod World Final, all in their entirety.
