GEORGE POLLEY "THE DRIVER"
Come with us on a pilgrimage back in time with Short Circuit's living legend, George Polley. Interviewed by Graham Brown at the derelict Cross in Hand raceway we journey back to the beginning of Hot Rod Racing. With the help of Barry Lee, Duffy Collard, Les Eaton and many other contemporary drivers we follow George's career from his early teenage exploits on the road. Using archive film of the first World Final in 1972 and early racing at Wisbech and Wimbledon we trace George's rise through the ranks to become the 1976 World Champion.
