BANGERS ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP 1997

The Bangers at The Ipswich Spedeweekend have traditionally been centred round their English Championship. This year's race, won by 510 "Kingy", was as good as ever and combined with North v South Team Racing on the Saturday, there is loads of action to see. It could be described as a "Nutty Weekend" certainly Nigel Whayman thought so, he got squashed on Saturday and launched on Sunday, both captured in full. There was also a Ramp Roll-Over competition where Mr Blobby from Noel's House Party drove the Control Car over the ramp and wrecked it!! Some drivers held an impromptu Destruction Derby in the dark while the fireworks were on. This is the ideal video if you don't like Rod racing but want a memento of the Spedeweekend
